![]() DBSync for MySQL and DB2 provides the bulk of functional capabilities such as interactive (GUI) mode / command line mode, CLOB, BLOB DB2 data types smooth conversion to MySQL types, insert, update and drop synchronization types, advanced customization options, ability to save sessions for further use, flexible task scheduling with built-in scheduler, data filtering, preverification of possible conversion errors, etc. You can convert and synchronize MySQL with DB2 or DB2 with MySQL simply by configuring several options and by making some sync customizations through a Wizard interface or in command line mode. Command line parameters added to a scheduling function enables you to automatically synchronize or convert data regularly without user input and supplementary settings. Insert sync is meant for adding new records from a source to a destination. Update sync is intended for replacing the altered records in a destination db. Drop sync type allows users to delete records from a destination db if these records were removed in the source. Update, Insert and Drop synchronization together allow keeping distributed databases in agreement. DBSync for MySQL and DB2 provides you with the ability to manipulate synchronization preferences on Customization stage exactly according to your needs. Filtering data during conversion allows users to retrieve only specific data for converted tables according to defined filtering criteria. Filters give you more control on the data migration process.
