I loved it but only had the demo. Once the demo expired I could not figure out a way to remove the virtual devices, they were still intact for a year and a half now! o.O hehe! Other than that, it is a great program.

As I won a Dell PC, I tried once long time ago to install the program, but I recived a warning saying, that Alcohol if installed on my machine would change the "kernel", I was wondering if with the newer versions still is like that!!! any news? Ciao.

One of the best CD/DVD image utilities ever, quick & light. I use it for years! Still there are some technical improvements to be made..like more supported image files..more funcionalities like changing the image format and saving.. And why the update thingy??If I want another version I´ll buy it or download it. Congratulations to Alcohol team for their good job over years! :)
p.s.: didn´t have any problems with Vista like these people are talking about :)

This is about as good as a CD/DVD Burning can get.

If youre having problems creating a GOOD, COMPLETE backup CD/DVD for any games or programs, you may be burning it at too fast a rate. If you slow your burning speed down to 10X-16X, you're almost assured of a GOOD, CLEAN, COMPLETE burn of your backup.

Even with vista ultimate, thios software allowed me to create backup copies of all my old PS1 Games and even play them on emulators succesfully! This is one form of alcohol i like.

I have 2 sons, so making backups of games is a nessasity cause they are so hard on the discs. I was having a real problem with one game, used many other software, and still when playing the backup it would skip and pause and some areas just not work. I tried the Alcohol 120 and first time worked perfect!! Thanks for such a great product, keep up the good work!!!
